Note — resampling uses the browser's own OfflineAudioContext, which applies an anti-aliasing filter on the way down. When a downsample overshoots ±1.0, the result is scaled back rather than clipped, and you get told when that happened. Dither is TPDF at one LSB and only applies to integer targets.
WAV files with fmt/data in any order, WAVE_FORMAT_EXTENSIBLE headers, and unknown extra chunks are all handled. Compressed WAV (ADPCM, µ-law) is not — this tool only reads PCM and IEEE float.
